Your job demands an excellent understanding of metalworking processes, and you should be able to operate and maintain machines used for bending, cutting, and shaping metal sheets.Press Brake operator must analyze blueprints or specifications to determine appropriate machines, tools, and dies to use while also ensuring conformity to product standards. The job also requires that you inspect all materials to verify their specifications and that they meet the company’s quality standards. It is your responsibility to load and unload materials, set up and adjust machine settings to specific requirements, and calibrate the equipment to achieve the desired bending specifications.As a Press Brake Operator, you must be able to carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
