Your impact
Free Market Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services Specialist to serve as a first point of contact for pharmacy and specialty practice customers. In this role, you will address inquiries, resolve issues, monitor support queues, and help keep day-to-day operations moving smoothly. Your responsiveness, sound judgment, and commitment to quality service will directly shape the customer experience on the FMH platform.

Free Market Health is seeking a Pharmacy Services Specialist to serve as a first point of contact for pharmacy and specialty practice customers. In this role, you will address inquiries, resolve issues, monitor support queues, and help keep day-to-day operations moving smoothly. Your responsiveness, sound judgment, and commitment to quality service will directly shape the customer experience on the FMH platform.
What You’ll Do
- Provide primary support by resolving customer issues and managing complex or high-priority cases.
- Monitor program support queues to ensure timely response and resolution of requests.
- Escalate issues to specialized teams as needed to ensure appropriate handling and resolution.
- Review reports and complete required follow-up actions to support operational workflows.
- Identify opportunities for additional training or education and communicate insights to leadership.
- Use required systems and applications to perform daily responsibilities effectively.
- Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs and professional judgment.
- At least 1 year of professional work experience.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including working within quality standards and supporting customer satisfaction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, diplomatically, and confidentially.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and similar systems.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- College degree preferred
- Customer service experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, a call center, or a related environment.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
- Experience working across multiple systems while multitasking effectively.
