Overview
Free All Minds is a 501(c)(3) leadership academy that prepares young men for life after high school academically, professionally, and emotionally.
As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and managing programs that support the mission of Free All Minds. You will oversee a team of mentors who work directly with our F.A.M. students. Responsibilities include coordinating weekly Sunday programs (1:30–5:00 p.m.), organizing community events and trips, and attending events to raise awareness of our organization. You will also collect student and parent data to support program evaluation. Your leadership will foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement programs tailored to meet the needs of our students
- Manage day-to-day operations of programs, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with student, families, and community partners to enhance service delivery.
- Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive team environment.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Coordinate and plan guest presentations, trips and events
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to program activities and outcomes.
- Manage the acceptance and dismissal of students in our academy.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in program management or development within a social services context.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Administrative experience that demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working directly with youth age 13-18.
- Supervising experience that showcases your leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management in a programmatic setting.
- Background in social work or behavioral health that informs your approach to service delivery.
