What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Mover position at Frederick Moving Company?
Frederick Moving Company is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Movers. As a Mover, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packing and/or moving household or commercial goods from one location to another. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off of trucks.
- Safely transport goods to their destination, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
- Follow established procedures for packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly (At least 50 lbs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks.
- Prior experience in the moving industry is a plus but not required.
