What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position at Frederick Behavioral Health Services?
Overview:
We are seeking a fully licensed mental health professional to join our growing group private practice. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about providing quality mental health services to clients.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual therapy sessions using evidenced-based interventions to address client needs
- Complete timely and accurate documentation that meets billing requirements and COMAR regulations
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure collaborative care
- Potentially offer family and/or couples counseling based on provider's experience and training
- Be willing to offer at least one day of in person sessions in Columbia, Maryland

Experience:
- Must hold a valid Maryland state license as a LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, or LCPAT
