What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salvage Pick Up Clerk position at Fred Loya Insurance?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create new Salvage assignments
- Assign vehicles for pickup and negotiate charges
- Contacts shops/owners for release of vehicles
- Follow up on release problems to ensure vehicles are picked up in a timely manner
- Work on reports to ensure that the company has an accurate account of all salvage vehicles and their disposition.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to work in a group environment and individually
- Must possess the ability to negotiate
- Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power, Access, and Outlook)
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to multitask
