- Prepare and cook meals using standardized recipes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Serve meals at appropriate temperatures with attention to portion control and presentation
- Prepare meals that meet special dietary needs, modified textures, and allergen requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Properly use, clean, and store kitchen equipment and supplies
- Work collaboratively with dining team members to support smooth meal service
- Contribute to a respectful, professional kitchen culture that prioritizes resident comfort and dignity

What You Will Need:
- Minimum of one year of professional cooking experience, preferably in assisted living, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
- Experience following standardized recipes, menus, and production schedules
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow recipes, safety guidelines, and communicate effectively
