As a Barista, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming café experience for residents, guests, and team members. You’ll greet guests, prepare espresso beverages and café food items using standardized recipes, and provide timely, accurate service while maintaining quality, presentation, and portion standards. Over time, you’ll get to know our regular guests and their preferences, helping make each visit feel personal.
You’ll also help keep the café clean, organized, and ready for service by maintaining workstations and equipment, replenishing supplies and condiments, and completing opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks. You’ll follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards, support catering or special café needs as assigned, and work alongside the dining team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Pay Range: $19.80-22.74 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
What You Will Need
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, guests, and team members
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided)
- Comfort learning point‑of‑sale systems and handling basic transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous barista, food service, or customer‑facing experience preferred but not required
