JOB OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of roofing, windows, and doors projects — from contract execution through final closeout. This senior role oversees project coordinators, field supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure every job is completed safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the quality standards that define our company's reputation. The Project Manager is accountable for client relationships, crew performance, financial outcomes, and operational excellence across a portfolio of residential and/or commercial roofing, windows, and doors projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead pre-construction planning including scope review, site assessment, crew assignment, and material procurement strategy
- Develop comprehensive project schedules and ensure all resources are in place prior to mobilization
- Oversee simultaneous projects across multiple job sites, prioritizing workload and resolving conflicts
- Conduct pre-job kickoff meetings with field supervisors, crews, and subcontractors
- Monitor daily progress against schedules and budgets, taking corrective action as needed
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary executive contact for clients, architects, general contractors, and property managers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Manage expectations proactively and escalate issues before they impact client satisfaction
- Conduct pre-construction and post-completion walkthroughs with clients
- Resolve escalated complaints and negotiate solutions that protect both client relationships and company margins
Financial Management
- Own the financial performance of each project — including budget, cost control, and profitability
- Review and approve change orders and subcontractor invoices
- Analyze job cost and take corrective action when projects trend over budget
Team Leadership & Development
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular check-ins with sub crews
- Identify training needs and support professional development within the team
- Foster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
- Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management as needed
Subcontractor & Vendor Management
- Source, qualify, and manage subcontractors in alignment with company standards
- Hold subcontractors accountable for schedule, quality, and safety compliance
Safety & Quality Assurance
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all job sites
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements
- Conduct and document regular job site safety and quality inspections
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions and lessons learned
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications, building codes, and warranty requirements
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all projects have complete and current documentation: contracts and permits
- Maintain accurate records in the company's project management software
- Oversee the timely submission of inspection scheduling
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in the construction or home improvement industry running project crews and managing multiple production schedules
- Strong customer service and desire to support cross-functional teammates
- Excellent communication skills with bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of the products and processes involved in the exterior envelope of residential homes
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
