Bakery Operations Manager - Nampa
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our hard-working and fast-paced team. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling bakery operations. This role requires a high level of independent judgment and direct oversight of department leaders in Production, Maintenance Engineering, Food Safety, Sanitation, Distribution, Fleet, and Administration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage bakery operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Oversee the plant budget and financial performance.
- Establish specific goals and standards for each department to align with company policies and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in operations and cost control.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible production supervision experience, preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
- Professional knowledge equivalent to a 4-year college degree.
- Completion or enrollment in AIB 16-week class or Certified Bakers program.
- Experience managing in a union environment is desirable.
- High analytical ability and independent judgment.
- Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Windows Office, Outlook, Excel.
