LEAPS After-School Site Coordinator

The LEAPS Afterschool Program is seeking to fill a part-time Site Coordinator position at Richford Elementary School starting mid to late December. LEAPS runs a 2 hr afterschool program for 30 weeks of the school-year and a five-week summer camp. This position is an extended school year position with 25 hours per week while school is in session, 40 hours during summer camp and flexible planning hours to be used during school breaks and for professional development. The primary role and responsibility of the Site Coordinator is to develop and implement afterschool programs at RES that provide youth opportunities to grow and learn in ways that are meaningful and supportive.

Duties include but are not limited to: the development of program activities, hiring and supervising staff, overseeing behavior management, creating program flyers, and grant reporting. The ideal candidates will have experience in education, program design, program management, and will have basic computer skills. The Site Coordinator is required to be on site during the afterschool program from 2:30 5:30 pm, Monday & Wednesday - Friday. Tuesdays the Site Coordinator will need to arrive by 1:30 to support the early release time.

The summer program will run 8am - 3pm.Pay starts at $20/hr. and is based on experience.
