Project Manager | Finance | Peabody, MA | $110,000-$130,000 | Onsite
A leading financial organization is looking to add a Project Manager to the team!This role will take ownership of a varied portfolio of initiatives spanning technology, business operations, compliance, vendor partnerships, process optimization, and broader organizational change.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to turn strategic objectives into well-structured projects, keeping teams aligned, risks managed, and delivery on track. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working across different areas of an organization and is comfortable operating within a regulated, process-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of projects from initial scoping and planning through implementation and closeout
- Work with senior stakeholders and business teams to establish project goals, requirements, timelines, and deliverables
- Build and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery milestones
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities
- Bring together technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to keep initiatives moving forward
- Lead project meetings and provide clear, concise updates to leadership and key stakeholders
- Oversee third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring expectations and deliverables are clearly defined
- Maintain accurate project documentation, governance materials, and reporting
- Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process improvement, and business transformation
- Contribute to the ongoing development of PMO processes, standards, and delivery practices
What you Bring
- 5 years of professional project management experience, with 10 years highly desirable
- Demonstrated success managing both business and technology-focused initiatives
- Strong knowledge of project planning, governance, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience defining requirements and turning business needs into structured project plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to documentation and detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project management tools
- Experience with platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or similar tools
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus, or an interest in pursuing certification
Industry Experience
Experience working within a regulated or highly structured environment is strongly preferred. Relevant backgrounds may include:
- Financial services
- Banking
- Insurance
- Healthcare
- Other regulated industries

This role is suited to a well-rounded Project Manager who has experience managing projects across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will not be exclusively focused on infrastructure, product management, or Agile delivery.
