We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in Apache Kafka to help us build and scale our event-driven systems. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-throughput data pipelines and streaming architectures that power critical business applications.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Kafka-based data streaming solutions.
• Work closely with backend teams to integrate Kafka into microservices and distributed systems.
• Optimize Kafka clusters for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and guide best practices in event-driven design.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including configuration, schema registry, and stream processing (Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, or similar).
• Solid background in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience building distributed systems and working with microservices.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of data modeling, event schemas, and system observability.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Confluent Platform or Kafka Connect.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code.
• Interest in real-time analytics and data platform engineering.
