Position Summary
Provides direct, compassionate care to residents in a five-star skilled nursing facility, assisting with daily living activities and supporting nursing staff to ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs):
- Transfer and reposition residents (beds, wheelchairs) using proper safety techniques
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nurses
- Maintain clean and safe environments (bed making, room tidiness)
- Assist with evening routines:
- Dinner service and cleanup
- Preparing residents for bed
- Nighttime comfort checks
- Respond promptly to call lights
- Support residents’ emotional and social needs
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Accurately document care provided
Required Qualifications
- Active LNA certification
- Basic knowledge of patient care and safety
- Ability to lift/move residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Typical Schedule
- Evening shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (may vary)
- Includes weekends and holidays on rotation
Pay: $26.00 - $29.50 per hour
