Are you a dynamic leader passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Franklin County Council on Aging (FCCOA) is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to support our mission of enhancing the quality of life for older adults in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage assigned staff, including performance evaluations, and fostering a positive, professional work environment.
- Represent FCCOA at board meetings, Advisory Council meetings, and other community engagements alongside or in place of the Executive Director.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with all nutritional, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and staff to assess community needs and develop strategies to enhance service delivery.
- Assist with event scheduling, public relations, marketing, and community outreach efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field; equivalent experience of 5 years may substitute for education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business management, nutrition, and supervising teams of 10 employees.
- At least 5 years of kitchen and catering experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles for seniors.
