This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Our residents do NOT require skilled care, therefore your CNA job is a little different here:
What You’ll Do
At our behavioral health center (an Independent Care Facility or ICF), CNAs play a big role in helping our “residents” feel safe, supported, and on track with their psychological rehab and recovery goals. You’ll be part of a close-knit behavioral health team that truly cares and works together every day.

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
Each center is unique; offering you a variety of long-term career opportunities.
- Start Date: ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon
- Orientation Note: Our New Employee Orientations are held every other Wednesday, starting at 10:30am. You will need to attend the full day.
- Hourly Wage: 22.00-26.75 based on years of experience
- Status: Part time; 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Varying shifts Monday-Friday with every other weekend rotation

What You’ll Do

- Support Guests with daily care and encourage healthy routines
- Help create a calm, positive, and respectful environment
- Work alongside nurses, therapists, and coordinators as part of a strong care team
- Be a steady, friendly presence residents can count on and help de-escalate behavioral issues
- Our patients are ambulatory so there is less lifting than in a SNF or hospital
- iPads for quick and easy bedside documentation

Qualifications
What we need from you:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in IL
- Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required
