Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS system.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and during serving.
- Assist with food handling, basic food prep, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks such as serving, cashiering, and restocking.
- Must be willing to work on holidays, or weekends if necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is an advantage but not necessary.
- Should be willing to train.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food service roles is advantageous
- Must be willing to work early in the morning and have the availability to work on holidays and weekends if necessary.
