What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Provider position at Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration?
One Mission. Many Opportunities. Come join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration mission and ministry. We are seeking a casual call Transportation provider to join our team.
In this casual call position, you will be responsible for safely transporting the Sisters and completing errands as assigned. This role is based on an as needed basis. You will work closely with the Transportation Coordinator for coordinating schedule.
We are looking for someone who shares our values of hospitality and partnership and desires a culture that puts relationships first.
Education & Experience:
- Must have and maintain a good driving record.
- Prior experience providing transportation or delivery services preferred.
License requirements:
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must have no moving violations or chargeable accidents on driving record for the past three years.
- Any moving violations during employment must be reported immediately. Driving records will be checked periodically.
Essential Duties:
- Provides safe and timely transportation for Sisters locally and on when scheduled for long-distance trips.
- Maintains open communication with the Transportation Coordinator regarding schedules and assignments.
- Monitors vehicle performance, promptly reporting any irregularities or maintenance that is needed.
- Assists passage with entering and exiting vehicles; loads and unloads luggage, packages, and mobility aids.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information obtained in the course of duties.
- Performs miscellaneous errands and other transportation-related tasks as requested.
- Displays visible FSPA identification while on duty.
- Participates in AAA safety and defensive driving classes offered at St. Rose Convent.
