Join the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Wellness Department. We are seeking a full-time Nursing Scheduler/Administrative Assistant to join our team at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse, WI.
In this position you would be responsible for coordinating the nursing team's staffing schedules, maintaining staffing levels, supporting payroll processes and providing administrative and organizational supports to the nursing team. This position serves as a key communication hub between caregivers, nurses, department leaders, and Sisters while ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, build relationships and engage with co-workers, Sisters, guests and others
- Minimum of 1 year of scheduling, staffing coordination, or administrative experience preferred
- Experience in assisted living, healthcare, senior living or long term preferred
- Experience with scheduling and payroll software preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently while supporting a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Identify with, share in, and display a commitment to the mission, philosophy and values of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA)
- Create, maintain, and publish staff schedules for the nursing department
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet sister care needs and coordinate replacement staffing as needed
- Monitor overtime, scheduling preferences, attendance tracking casual call requirements and communicate concerns to supervisors
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Wellness, included but not limited to generating reports, coordinating staff meetings, non-nursing supportive duties for the sisters
- Schedule, track and communicate daily hair care, foot care and massage appointments as needed.
- Assist in facilitating the interview process and the onboarding process of new department staff.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sister and employee information in accordance with HIPPA regulations and organizational policies
