Print Shop Assistant

The Print Shop Assistant performs and monitors both scheduled and non-recurring print jobs requested by internal customers. The Assistant is trained on and understands how to operate various pieces of printing equipment, including digital presses, binding equipment, folders, and creasers. This position communicates with customers regarding the completion of orders and ships orders, as needed. The Assistant may, also, complete minor equipment maintenance, such as toner or paper changes and resets.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am-4:30pm. No weekends or holidays.

• Stores recurring print material in the appropriate bin locations in inventory.

• Performs minor maintenance on printing equipment to ensure equipment functionality.

• Orders replenishment supplies, subject to the Print Shop Supervisor’s approval.

• Operates and monitors printing equipment to complete print jobs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED - Required

• 1 year work experience - Required

• 3 years Print Shop Operations - Preferred

• Experience with printers and demonstrated proficiency in printer operation and basic troubleshooting - Required

• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software systems - Required

• Solid office skills, including organization and professional communication - Required
