WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT

• Linen Services Delivers clean linens to all areas of the hospital and ensures an adequate supply of linens is available.

• Area Maintenance Ensures the laundry department and laundry equipment are well maintained and at acceptable levels of cleanliness.

• Linen Services Gathers soiled linens, inspects and identifies items requiring special treatment.

• Equipment Operation Operates washers, driers, and extractors and regulates machine processes, the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives.

• Linen Services Sorts and counts articles removed from the dryers and folds, wraps or hangs them.

• Inventory Management Takes inventory counts of each unit assigned, marks laundry articles with identifying code numbers or names.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred High School Diploma/GED

• 1 year laundry experience Preferred

• Valid drivers licence and proof of insurance - Crawfordsville only - .
