Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 am, Monday through Friday; 9 am – 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Housekeeping Floor Inspector position is responsible for insuring that all guest rooms are cleaned at the 4 Diamond standards and for executing the daily tasks and floor assignments of the housekeeping department.

Areas of Responsibilities:

· Monitors and Inspects all assigned Room Attendants and House person.

· Conducts monthly inventories, and assist the housekeeping management with additional projects for the betterment of the property.

· Works alongside their staff as this is a hands-on position.

· Flexible to work in different areas within the department when needed.

Education, Skills and Work Experience:

· 1 year’s prior housekeeping room inspecting.

· Excellent communication skills at all levels of the hotel, as well as interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to work in a high pace environment without compromising attention to detail, while demonstrating excellent organization and time management skills.

· Ability to effectively and efficiently execute daily housekeeping responsibilities with staffing levels; train associates and recognize the need for coaching when necessary.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule as well as weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands in the Work Environment

Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods.

Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds.
