Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of commercial, industrial, and residential spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while following proper lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or cleaning materials
• Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in excellent condition
• Follow strict safety protocols when handling chemical agents and cleaning supplies to ensure a safe environment for all team members and clients
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas with attention to detail
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report findings promptly
• Support general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed to uphold facility standards

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely, understanding chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation best practices
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools
• Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous for broader responsibilities
• Knowledge of safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure working environment at all times

Pay: $100.00 - $900.00 per week
