Working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities, you will analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into detailed test cases, and perform multi-faceted testing across multiple platforms.You will accurately execute system-level tests, develop test scripts, track issues and defects, and collaborate closely with IT partners throughout the department to troubleshoot and implement quality system changes. Additionally, you will prepare decision-making documents, conduct independent research, evaluate technical issues, and recommend cost-effective solutions and process improvements.Your work will foster cooperative relationships with management, business counterparts, and technical teams while providing services within the Software Engineering domain.
In your software quality role, you will:
• Conduct multi-faceted testing of enterprise applications, including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Analyze technical and business requirements to develop detailed, executable test cases.
• Build and maintain test scripts, data sets, and documentation to ensure complete test coverage.
• Track, document, and help resolve defects by working closely with developers, analysts, and IT partners.
• Support implementation activities, release validation, and post-deployment testing.
• Prepare decision-making documents and perform research to recommend cost-effective technical solutions.
• Foster positive and effective working relationships with technical and business teams.
Automation Responsibilities:
You will also support FTB's growing testing automation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, increasing coverage, and modernizing testing practices across enterprise systems. This includes:
• Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases to streamline repetitive testing and reduce regression timeframes.
• Working with enterprise automation tools and frameworks to help standardize testing practices and support continuous integration pipelines.
• Identifying automation candidates in collaboration with QA partners, Developers, and Analysts.
• Ensuring test data readiness and helping align automated testing with FTB's broader digital QA strategy, including shift-left and continuous delivery principles.
• Contributing to improved release quality through expanded automated coverage and faster feedback cycles.
