HOURS: Full-time position. Remote work will be considered.
REQUIREMENTS: An associate’s degree in healthcare informatics, or a clinical or healthcare related discipline is preferred; however, approved experience may substitute for education requirements. Minimum of 3 years in the health care industry is preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with health care IT experience preferred. Meditech experience is preferred.
JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of clinical applications, with a primary focus on supporting the Meditech EHR and associated clinical systems. This position works closely with end users, clinicians, department leaders, and technical teams to ensure that applications support safe, efficient, and effective patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, test, and maintain clinical applications to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with end users to understand workflows, gather requirements, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of technologies.
- Lead or participate in projects involving new application implementations, upgrades, and workflow optimization initiatives.
