What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

  • Plans, organizes, prioritizes, monitors and controls the work activities of the group(s) in accordance with customer requirements and company policies, procedures and objectives.  
  • Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Typically approves employees' timecards and participates in employee selection process.
  • May recommend wage adjustment or change of status.  
  • Supervises group's performance to complete work within budget and schedule.  
  • Ensures staff adherence to quality, regulatory and safety requirements.  
  • Facilitates implementation of workflow methods and team improvements.  
  • Provides expertise to staff in resolution of non-routine manufacturing/technical problems.  

Safety compliance - Enforce protocols and housekeeping to prevent injuries.Process improvement - Use data driven methods to reduce errors.Manufacturing processes - Coordinate equipment maintenance for optimal uptime.Production schedule - Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and efficiency goals.Problem solving - Quickly address equipment breakdown.Effective supervision - Coach employees, conduct performance reviews and fosters teamwork.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes and skill in applying manufacturing team concepts.  
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all  levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Understanding of machining, assembly, fabrication, or other relevant production methods.  
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.  
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or industry-specific quality systems. OSHA regulations and workplace safety protocols.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Total Rewards Package

Total Rewards Package         

  • Salary: $94,000 - $127,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
