Job Summary

In this energetic role, you will support warehouse distribution activities by efficiently handling inventory. Loading and unloading trailer. Lifting up to 100 pounds regularly in a team setting. Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counting, inventory control, and updating records using warehouse management systems such as RF scanners and AS400.
- Operate heavy equipment safely, including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment or storage.
- Perform stock replenishment tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space to optimize workflow.
- Handle materials with care during heavy lifting and mechanical operations while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment through order picking and packing activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse distribution processes.
- Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems like RF scanners and AS400 for tracking inventory.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards set by OSHA.
- Prior warehouse experience with skills in stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order fulfillment tasks.
