6 Clients Maximum!!The Clinical Director perform the more difficult counseling services in connection with the rehabilitation of residents and mental health residents with substance abuse problems. The Therapist plans, manages and provides services to residents in treatment. This individual utilizes case history to develop individual, group and family therapy techniques, administration, community organization, consultation, and case management planning. Education and Qualifications• This position shall be a licensed professional that may include but not limited to: LCSW, MFT, Licensed Psychologist• Current CPR and First Aid certification• 1 year of experience with a substance abuse population and treatment model• Narcan certification• ASAM training.• Current TB test results. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesActs as a resource person in the field of substance abuse counseling to the community, counselors, and other staff members; develop and implement treatment plans; monitor and chart resident's progress and implement modifications to the residents program as needed. Perform Drug and Alcohol abuse lectures as well as individual and group counseling; supervises and trains other staff members; participates in professional staff conferences to discuss residents and to make recommendations on their future care, treatment and rehabilitation; collects and evaluates resident's medical, psychological, educational, social and vocational history in connection with planning rehabilitation programs; and may engage in research to develop moreeffective rehabilitation methods. • Facilitates multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned residents (ensures inclusion of all treatment modalities/disciplines).• May assist to clinically assess all new residents, including conducting ASAM assessments prior to admission.• Conducts individual sessions for all assigned residents (at least weekly).• Participates in group counseling, education, and meetings per program schedule.• Facilitates couples/family sessions as specified in individual residents' treatment plans.• Coordinates all treatment services needed for assigned resident caseload.• Communicates with staff via communication book and resident's record to maximize utilization of milieu in supporting the resident's treatment plan.• Ensures resident records for assigned caseload are accurate and complete, and meet licensing standards.• Develops and participates in in-service training, individual/group supervision meetings.• Conducts weekly staff meetings.
