SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provide administrative support to assigned production department. This position requires time on the production floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Tracking Attendance and Absenteeism
•Creating and updating production reports and spreadsheets
•Act as guide for new employees and visitors to facility
•Taking and distributing emergency messages
•Ensuring all employees time is entered correctly
•Effectively communicates through active listening; acting on input; sharing information in an open timely manner, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and encouraging others to do the same
•Walk the production floor looking for safety issues
•Walk the production floor to disseminate messages or get information quickly
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years clerical experience required
Special Skills, Competencies, & Other Qualifications
1.Excellent communication, written and oral, and customer service relationship skills.
2.Intermediate to Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
3.Must be a self-starter
4.Bilingual in English/Spanish, English/French, or English/Swahili a plus
