Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Introduction: Join our dynamic team at Oral and Facial Surgery Center as a Front Desk Receptionist. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to manage our front desk operations. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments and resolve inquiries.
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Assist new patients with completing forms and explain what documentation is needed.
- Ensure patient information is accurate including billing and insurance information.
- Maintain, manage, and update patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Calculate benefits and collect patient co-pays.
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Ensure the reception area and waiting room are tidy and presentable.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical or dental setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.
- High school diploma: additional qualifications in healthcare administration are a plus.
