Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Introduction: Join our dynamic team at Oral and Facial Surgery Center as a Front Desk Receptionist. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to manage our front desk operations. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments and resolve inquiries.
• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Assist new patients with completing forms and explain what documentation is needed.
• Ensure patient information is accurate including billing and insurance information.
• Maintain, manage, and update patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations.
• Calculate benefits and collect patient co-pays.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Ensure the reception area and waiting room are tidy and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical or dental setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.
• High school diploma: additional qualifications in healthcare administration are a plus.
