What You'll Do
- Develop manufacturing solutions using 3D modeling software to create customer geometry, tooling, and fixturing designs.
- Design fixtures, gages, and tooling required for production and inspection.
- Review product designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing specifications.
- Support customer RFQs with technical expertise and manufacturability assessments.
- Partner with production teams to develop cost-effective tooling and fixturing solutions that meet project timelines.
- Create operation drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Develop manufacturing sequences and maintain records within the MIS system.
- Lead and coordinate technical activities to resolve design, testing, and process-related challenges.
- Evaluate and approve engineering changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications, drawings, and engineering data.
- Experience with CREO CAD preferred.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and complex manufacturing requirements.
- ANSYS FEA software experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, forging, and/or manufacturing processes is a plus.
