What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for complex titanium aerospace components.
- Create 3D models and CAD/CAM programs using simulation software to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Review product designs and specifications for manufacturability, quality, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Partner with machining teams to develop tooling and fixturing solutions that support production goals and project timelines.
- Support customer quoting activities through process planning and manufacturing expertise.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong CNC programming and machining experience, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and machining process development.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining strategies, and tooling optimization.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with CREO software is a plus.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and complex manufacturing requirements.
