General Purpose Scheduler / Production Planner
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented scheduling professional to support production operations and ensure customer delivery requirements are met. This position plays a key role in coordinating production schedules, material flow, and manufacturing priorities while partnering closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules for a variety of manufactured products to support customer demand and operational efficiency.
- Build and manage master schedules to establish production priorities, sequencing, and lead times.
- Review production requirements and capacity constraints to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Coordinate scheduling activities across multiple departments and manufacturing operations.
- Monitor material availability and production status to help ensure on-time completion of orders.
- Analyze production data and process information to improve scheduling accuracy and operational performance.
- Communicate schedule updates, production goals, and potential delays to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Prepare reports related to production planning, output, and operational performance metrics.
- Partner with supervisors and managers to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on streamlining manufacturing and planning processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in production scheduling, planning, manufacturing coordination, or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Manufacturing experience within industrial, aerospace, automotive, or related environments is highly preferred.
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
