What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Quality Assurance position at FPC of Savannah?
Our dairy manufacturing client in the Texas Panhandle is seeking their next Head of FSQA (Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level - title flexible based on experience).
This is a state-of-the-art facility (<5 years old) producing 700,000 lbs/day and operating at a high level of scale and sophistication. The role sits on the plant leadership team, reporting directly to the Director of Operations, offering strong visibility, influence, and direct impact on plant performance and compliance.
You’ll own the full FSQA function, including:
- Food safety systems and compliance
- Environmental monitoring programs
- Pre-op and sanitation programs
- Regulatory compliance
- CIP validation and verification programs
- Leadership of a 10-person FSQA team
🎯 What they’re looking for:
- 5 years of FSQA leadership experience in food manufacturing
- Dairy experience required (cheese/whey strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead teams and partner cross-functionally in a plant environment
- Strong understanding of food safety systems, audits, and regulatory expectations
💰 Compensation & Details:
- Base salary: $120K–$160K (depending on experience)
- On-site role in the Texas Panhandle
