Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy while processing payments and giving correct change
- Restock supplies regularly and assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage serving techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively
