Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes for shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain logistics.
Duties
- Oversee all warehouse operations, and associates. Including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with supply chain management to align demand planning with inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in materials handling.
- Monitor performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist in production planning as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is required.
- Familiarity with HVAC is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and materials management practices.
- Experience with demand planning and production planning processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage operations.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
