Job Summary (willing to train):
- Perform preliminary testing including visual acuity, pupil assessment, visual fields, manual lensometry, manual refraction, and applanation tonometry
- Perform diagnostic testing such as topography, OCT, fundus photos, and visual fields
- Assist in minor surgical procedures
- Scribe for providers
- Answer patient questions and concerns they may have
- Able to work one Saturday a month and occasional evening hours
- Completes other duties as assigned

Qualification requirements:
- High school diploma
- Reliable transportation
- Able to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
- 1 years experience in Ophthalmology preferred
- Ability to work in the Elgin & Saint Charles location
- Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays a month in the Saint Charles Office
- Prefer ModMed EHR experience
- Prefer Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or interest in attaining certification

Pay: $17.00 - $31.00 per hour
