What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Picking and Loading Associate (2nd Shift) position at Fox Valley Farms, Inc.?
Shift: 6:00PM- 3:00AM Sunday-Friday ( Seasonal)
This role is responsible for the picking and loading of customer orders onto Fox Valley Farms’ vehicles. The purpose of this role is to prepare Route Drivers (i.e., FVF Driver/Salesmen) for a successful day of delivering products to customers of Fox Valley Farms.
General Work Tasks
· Uses load sheets to pick product
· Places product on clean pallet
· Double checks product against load sheet before placing on pallet
· Ensures each pallet is checked for accuracy
· Places pallet in correct position on trailer
· Secures pallet on trailer with straps and load bars
· Maintains a safe working environment
· Actively provides support to coworkers
Warehousing and Maintenance
· Adheres to FIFO standards
· Ensures cold storage continuity
· Ensures facility remains clean and orderly
· Adheres to State and Federal occupational safety standards
· Maintains Food Safety Program standards
· Ensures that facility equipment is clean and appropriate for use
· Contributes to a clean and well-organized work environment
Tools
· Powered walking forklift
· Box sealing tape dispensers
· Self-leveling docks
· Two-way Radio
Skills
· Valid Driver’s License preferred
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to frequently lift and position cases/crates weighing 40-50 lbs.
· Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
· Demonstrates reliability
· Demonstrates professionalism at all times
Experience
· 1-2 years warehousing experience, preferred but not necessary

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
