Key Responsibilities
- Receive daily parts shipments and verify quantities and condition
- Inspect incoming freight for damage or discrepancies
- Scan, file, and maintain receiving and special-order documentation
- Stage and notify Parts Counter staff of special-order arrivals
- Process parts returns (warranty, cores, damage, cycle counts)
- Prepare documentation for freight claims and credits
- Maintain organized stockroom and inventory areas
- Assist with loading, staging, and parts organization
- Provide backup coverage for parts delivery drivers as needed, including driving dealership vehicles
- Safely operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Full-time position
- 5-day workweek (8 hours per day) Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Saturday availability may be required

Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive parts department experience strongly preferred
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations
- Forklift certification or experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable providing backup delivery driving when needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background check, MVR, drug test)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift parts materials up to 75 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Work in a warehouse/parts receiving environment with moderate noise
- Comfort working around moving equipment and delivery vehicles
