Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a Dispatcher
No two days are exactly the same, but you’ll always know your work matters.
- Schedule and adjust customer appointments using PestRoutes
- Optimize technician routes to ensure timely, efficient service
- Communicate closely with Inside Sales and Branch Operations Managers
- Proactively manage schedule changes due to availability, illness, or demand
- Contact customers to reschedule appointments when needed
- Provide visibility into branch availability and sales opportunities
- Support sales reps and branches on a case‑by‑case basis
- Stay ahead of scheduling needs, openings, and bottlenecks
- Attend DCM meetings and collaborate cross‑functionally
- Build systems that keep schedules running smoothly—even on days off
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
