We are looking for a dependable, experienced Restaurant Manager to join our restaurant team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys cooking, food preparation, and leading a small kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily restaurant operations
- Complete daily food preparation and prep work
- Cook and work alongside the kitchen team as needed
- Supervise and direct Line Cooks
- Supervise Cashiers
- Assign stations and daily responsibilities
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and according to restaurant standards
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and cooking times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary restaurant
- Follow all food safety and health department requirements
- Monitor food and kitchen supply inventory
- Communicate ordering and supply needs to the owner
- Receive and properly store food deliveries
- Train new kitchen employees
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and work responsibilities
- Handle opening and closing kitchen duties
- Help keep the restaurant running efficiently during busy periods
- Address customer questions or concerns when needed
- Responsible for ordering and inventory
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience
- Previous supervisory or restaurant management experience preferred
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to lead a small team
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of the team while also taking charge when needed

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, organized, and takes pride in their cooking and the overall operation of the Restaurant. The right person will be comfortable doing the prep work, working the line when needed, directing the cooks, and making sure the Restaurant stays clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
