Job Summary
As an employee of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, you will provide the best in guest experience while working as an ambassador for the live performing arts. In addition, you will be an advocate for the Center and its mission, working to inspire, transform and build our community through exceptional live experiences. You are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and accuracy while selling products and services for all events.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
- Understand and ensure excellent guest experience per the standards, policies and procedures set forth by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
- Serve guests with desired products, including but not limited to food and non-alcoholic beverage selections in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Learn all cash handling positions, including but not limited to selling water, processing valet payments and selling merchandise.
- Engage guests actively and consistently to increase sale opportunities where directed.
- Maintain the highest level of accuracy with product and cash handling per the standards set forth by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
- Maintain a safe environment and address concerns appropriately, including but not limited to:
- Assisting challenging guests
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed
- Keeping a clean workspace and surrounding area throughout shift
- Ensure storage rooms, bars, catering kitchen and staff storage are consistently cleaned, organized and stocked as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain water stations with proper inventory and cleaning protocols throughout shift.
- Communicate using a radio with staff and supervisors in accordance with the Center’s standards for radio etiquette.
- Complete cash handling reports and forms as required.
- Adhere to the dress code at all times throughout shift.
- Direct guests confidently throughout the front of house, including but not limited to: seating locations, event spaces, bathrooms and ADA services.
- Oversee and sell merchandise accurately and efficiently as needed.
- Engage guests actively to support Center initiatives, including but not limited to seasonal fundraising campaigns.
- Attend Center trainings and meetings as assigned
- Other duties as assigned.
