What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Fox Barn Winery?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing and edging
- Operate string trimmers for weed whacking and property clean-up
- Apply herbicides and sprays in accordance with safety guidelines
- Assist with painting projects (fences, buildings, signage, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform general outdoor maintenance tasks as needed
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment

Qualifications
- Previous landscaping or maintenance experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to operate lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, sprayers)
- Basic knowledge of painting and surface preparation is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Valid driver’s license preferred
