Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and bubbly Licensed Acupuncturist to join our awesome wellness clinic on the beautiful Eastern shore of Maryland. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at women's reproductive health, IVF assistance, fertility, pre/post natal support, alleviating pain, promoting healing, and enhancing overall well-being. Your expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will enable you to deliver comprehensive patient care through precise assessments and tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans.
- Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and aseptic methods to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Manage acute pain conditions through targeted trigger point therapy and other pain management techniques.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems to document patient visits, treatment progress, and clinical notes accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate acupuncture into broader pain medicine and healthcare diagnosis strategies.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to support ongoing health and wellness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment adhering to all health regulations and standards for direct patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Expertise in women's health is huge bonus!
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and the principles of TCM.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments effectively.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols essential for safe practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively with our other acupuncturists.
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
