Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Functional SME / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Budget to Report (B2R) processes within Oracle ERP Cloud Financials. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud General Ledger and Budgetary Control modules, along with experience working through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to support implementation, enhancements, integration, testing, documentation, and process optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience with Oracle Financials EBS and/or Oracle ERP Cloud Financials
- Expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud modules:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Budgetary Control
- Budget to Report (B2R)
- Experience functioning as an Oracle ERP Functional SME
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication
- Strong documentation and reporting skills using:
- MS Word
- Excel
- Visio
- PowerPoint
- Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud configuration, validation, and production support
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Highly Desired Skills
- CPA Certification
- Public Sector / Government project experience
- Experience supporting financial transformation or ERP modernization initiatives
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials implementations in regulated environments
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements
- Support Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementation and enhancement activities
- Work closely with finance teams on Budget to Report (B2R) processes
- Configure and support General Ledger and Budgetary Control modules
- Create business process flows, functional specifications, and documentation
- Coordinate testing activities including SIT and UAT
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and issue resolution
- Provide SME guidance and support to stakeholders and leadership teams
