Our client, an apparel manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to join their men's and boy's sportswear team in NYC!
**WFH flexibility on Fridays
Responsibilities:
- Partner with design and sourcing to create specs for development samples and costing for styles
- Maintain Block Spec library
- Prepare graded specs for orders and work with design to complete tech packs
- Conduct fittings and evaluate garments
- Communicate regularly with overseas factories and vendors
- Collaborate with production to guarantee prompt implementation of fit and pattern adjustments
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in technical design
- Strong knowledge and experience with safety protocol
- Experience in all categories including tops, bottoms, knits & wovens
- Must be able to use MS office & Excel for spec sheets
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment
