Print Designer - Men's Swim & Apparel

Our client, a swim & apparel manufacturer, is seeking a Print Designer to join their team in NYC!

This role requires 4 days onsite in NYC.

Responsibilities:

• Create original prints, patterns, and graphics for men's and children's swim and apparel collections
• Develop seasonal print stories and artwork that align with brand aesthetics, customer needs, and market trends
• Produce all-over prints, engineered prints, and placement graphics across multiple product categories
• Prepare production-ready artwork, including recoloring, repeat layouts, color separations, and technical files for vendor execution
• Set up and scale artwork for garment placement, ensuring proper fit, visual balance, and design intent across silhouettes
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Color, and overseas teams throughout the product development process
• Review strike-offs, lab dips, and production samples to ensure artwork and color accuracy while resolving production issues with vendors
• Maintain organized artwork archives and support seasonal presentations, print reviews, and customer-driven revisions while meeting project deadlines

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in print, textile or graphic design
• Proficient in Illustrator & Photoshop
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Experience working with overseas factories and print vendors
• Understanding of fabric printing techniques
