Logistics Director

Our client, a hard goods wholesaler, is seeking a Logistics Director to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end order processing, including entry, tracking, updates, and discrepancy resolution
• Coordinate inventory levels and fulfillment with the Colombia operations team and 3PL partners
• Oversee import logistics, container tracking, and all related documentation and follow-ups
• Work closely with carriers and warehouses to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and compliance files (training available for international docs)
• Serve as the main point of contact for sales reps and internal teams regarding order and shipping status
• Maintain accurate records in Netsuite and ensure clean, organized operational data
• Identify process gaps and proactively resolve issues related to shipments, returns, and delays

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, order management, supply chain, or import operations
• Experience with ERP platforms (Netsuite preferred; A2000 or similar systems welcome)
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes including importing, shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working across teams and time zones
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, positive attitude and strong cultural fit—personality matters to this team
• Experience working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, or import logistics is a plus

Full time on site.

$100k-$140k depending on experience
