About the location:

A high-desert refuge in America's land of enchantment. The scent of piñon woodsmoke fills the air as you step onto your private patio to watch the sun set. In Santa Fe, it’s hard not to feel a little spoiled by the rugged beauty that surrounds our intimate, 65-room Resort. Set on 57 rolling acres in the Sangre de Cristo foothills, and just 10 minutes from downtown’s shops and galleries, Rancho Encantado is undeniably romantic. Begin your days with a hike along the nearby ridges and arroyos as your guide shares tales of our dude-ranch past, then relax by our pool, indulge in a healing treatment at our Spa, and join us at Terra for elevated, regional cuisine before strolling back to your casita beneath a sweeping night sky.

Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is seeking a hardworking and driven individual for our culinary team- a chef who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do and shares our passion for service excellence!

What are we looking for?

  • A genuine, caring, and compassionate professional with a strong passion for hospitality and a natural ability to connect authentically with others 
  • A collaborative team player who builds trust through openness and inspires teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Passionate about food and committed to developing future culinary leaders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

What would you bring to the table?

  • 5  years of Culinary Manager experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting 
  • High school education, cooking school, or culinary institute education preferred  
  • Flexible schedule- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Proficiency in English required; Spanish also preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.  

What would your job responsibilities be?

  • Lead with inspiration to build high-performing teams that deliver measurable results
  • Strong focus on menu planning, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Adapt well to change, bringing innovative thinking to drive Food & Beverage revenue, reduce costs, and increase guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to confidently problem-solve and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, effectively managing labor, food, and supply costs to achieve kitchen financial goals
  • Assist in overseeing all culinary staff and supports all aspects of kitchen operations as Sous Chef, with a focus on banquets
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow all food safety standards, operating, maintaining, and properly cleaning kitchen equipment
  • Follow Four Seasons Food Standards, recipes, and plating guidelines
  • Ensure timely and efficient food service to guests
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by culinary leadership
